If you’re here, chances are you’re walking through something hard — cancer, loss, a season that’s asked more of you than you knew you had. Or maybe you’re walking beside someone who is. Either way, I’m glad you found this porch.  I’m Tom Hawks II — most folks call me Grandpa-T. Sixteen-plus years living with cancer taught me something the hard way: being alive and being connected aren’t the same thing. You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone in the middle of it all.  That’s what this place is for. Living Connected comes down to one simple idea — we’re not meant to do the hard parts by ourselves.
